Why most Chennai families still ask for an Innova
Ask anyone in Chennai which car to book for a family trip and you will usually get the same answer: take an Innova. It has earned that over twenty years on Indian roads. The seats sit high and stay comfortable for hours, the boot takes real luggage, and it gets through a full day of city traffic without any drama.
We run two generations of it. The Innova Crysta is the diesel workhorse most people picture when they hear the name. The Innova Hycross is the newer model, with a smoother ride and a hybrid option that runs silently at signals. Both come with a driver, both are priced by the day, and you can choose whichever suits your plans and budget.
Which Innova should you book?
- Crysta G (₹4,250): the straightforward choice. Good seats, a strong AC and plenty of room. Best value for airport runs and family outings.
- Crysta Z (₹4,500): the top Crysta trim with nicer upholstery and more comfort features. Worth it when you are hosting guests.
- Hycross (₹5,000): newer body, softer ride and a quieter cabin. Feels more like a premium car from the back seat.
- Hycross Hybrid (₹5,500): book this for long days in traffic. The electric motor does a lot of the stop-start work, so the cabin stays calm.

- Fares are for local use within Chennai. Hours and kilometres are counted from our garage in Virugambakkam and back.
- Toll, parking and state permit charges, if any, are paid at actuals.
- Outstation trips and multi-day bookings are quoted on request, including the driver's allowance.
How a day adds up
Say you hire a Crysta G for a wedding shopping trip to T. Nagar and Purasawalkam. The day runs 10 hours and covers 95 km. You pay ₹4,250 for the package, 2 extra hours at ₹350 (₹700) and 15 extra km at ₹25 (₹375). That comes to ₹5,325, plus any parking.

How booking works
1. Message or call us. Share the date, pickup point and a rough plan for the day. WhatsApp is quickest.
2. We confirm the car and fare. You get the package price and the extra-hour and extra-km rates in writing, so nothing is left vague.
3. Your driver arrives. Travel as planned. Extra hours or kilometres are added only if you go past the package.

How much does an Innova cost per day in Chennai?
An Innova Crysta G costs ₹4,250 for 8 hours and 80 km, with a driver. The Crysta Z is ₹4,500, the Hycross is ₹5,000 and the Hycross Hybrid is ₹5,500 for the same package.
Is the driver included in the price?
Yes. Every Innova we rent comes with a driver, and his time is part of the package price. We do not offer self-drive cars.
How many people fit in an Innova?
Six to seven passengers plus the driver, depending on the seating layout. If everyone is carrying big suitcases, plan for five or six so the luggage fits too.
How are extra hours and kilometres charged?
Anything beyond 8 hours or 80 km is billed per hour and per km. For a Crysta G that is ₹350 an hour and ₹25 a km. A part hour is counted as a full hour.
What is not included in the fare?
Toll, parking and any state entry permit are paid at actuals. For outstation and overnight trips, the driver's allowance is added and we tell you the amount when you book.
Can I book an Innova for an outstation trip?
Yes. Share your route and the number of days and we will send a quote on WhatsApp. Tirupati, Pondicherry, Vellore and Bangalore are routes we cover regularly.
